How can i check synchronization between primary and standby in dataguard, without sqlplus?
Can I use dgmgrl for it?

Yes, like:

DGMGRL> show configuration;

Configuration - DGConfig1

  Protection Mode: MaxPerformance
  Databases:
    PRIMARY  - Primary database
    PRIMARY1 - Physical standby database

Fast-Start Failover: DISABLED

Configuration Status:
SUCCESS

If configuration status shows success, does that mean the databases successfully synchronized?

hi,

If the data guard have problem

Code: Select all

  Databases:
    PRIMARY  - Primary database
    PRIMARY1 - Physical standby database


the databases status will be changed and show you in above section.
