Multicast on 11g RAC

Could you please clarify me the multicast requirements for Oracle 11.2.0.3 RAC setup.

My question here is , Do we need to enable the muticast for private interconnection interface only or for both public and private interfaces?

Hi.

The multicast requirement is for the interconnect. Having said that, multicast is typically the default for all network interfaces.
