Alert log errors occurred in b/w given time duration

Hi,

Need shell script to get Alert log errors that occurred in past 24 hours & also b/w given time duration. I am using (Red Hat 4.1.2) and 11.1.0.7

For example: If we run the script it should prompt me for date/time, it should fetch me the errors occured during that time.

Date:27
Month:Nov
Year:2012
HH:08
MM:20
SS:43
It should fetch me the errors occured at this point of time from the alert log. If there are no errors just display a message "no errors" and display the actual text from alert log at that time as,
NO ERRORS
Actual message:
Tue Nov 27 08:20:43 2012

Hi.

Well, I never do this because I use EM (or Grid Control) to report on alter log errors, so I never have to manually parse the file.

If you plan to do this, you should probably use the ADRCLI command SHOW ALERT to output the relevant information.
