The answer to this is simple, but I will break it down a little.
1) You shouldn't. Oracle recommend you create all databases using the DBCA.
2) If you want to see how to do it without using the DBCA, you should run the DBCA, but at the end you are asked if you want to save your setup as scripts and/or create the database now. Saving the scripts allows you to see exactly what the DBCA does to create the database, which will answer your question.
