CALL WEBSERVICE FROM PLSQL. ORACLE 11G

Postby charlibraun » Tue Apr 30, 2013 3:17 pm

Hello, i have a problem

i try to test this code:
http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/9i/ ... ces-9i.php

i implement sopa_api.sql and add_numbers function without modifications

But when i execute

SELECT add_numbers(1, 5) FROM dual;

i have errors:

ORA-29273: HTTP request failed
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP",line 1029
ORA-12541: TNS:no listener
ORA-06512: at "dbtest.SOAP_API",line 144

Do I need to configure something?

My database version is 11g

Hi.

As I said in my reply in the comments, my first guess would be your database is not able to make direct connections to the internet. Can you test this from the console?

I've just run through the example again and it definitely works for me.

Cheers

Hi.

I know nothing about your company or the security you have in place, so I can't really comment on what has to be done from a network or firewall perspective. You best ask the relevant people in your company.

Cheers
