2) Where can we use DBMS_LDAP

Hi.

The package is used to access an LDAP server. You would use it whenever you need to get information out of an LDAP server from PL/SQL.

Dear Tim,

When I am using the DBMS_LDAP facing the issue like "ORA-31202: DBMS_LDAP: LDAP client/server error: Sizelimit exceeded"
so where i need to increase the size limit

Got it i am requesting all Attribute Values

l_attrs(1) := '*'; -- retrieve all attributes ------------------------So here passing what are all the values i need
l_retval := DBMS_LDAP.search_s(ld => l_session,
base => l_ldap_base,
scope => DBMS_LDAP.SCOPE_SUBTREE,
filter => 'objectclass=*',--------------- '(&(objectclass=USER)(SAMAccountName='||P_User_Name||'))',
attrs => l_attrs,
attronly => 0,
res => l_message);
