user name changes to root

Postby Guest » Mon Nov 01, 2004 6:09 pm

I can't find out why my user name keeps getting changes to root.
I'm sending a query to the remote database using perl and the DBI module I tace this all the way to where perl calls the OCI then somewhere it gets changed.

[09-SEP-2004 10:43:53:004] niotns: entry
[09-SEP-2004 10:43:53:005] niotns: niotns: setting up interrupt handler...
[09-SEP-2004 10:43:53:006] niotns: Not trying to enable dead connection detection.
[09-SEP-2004 10:43:53:006] niotns: Calling address: (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(HOST=lidb.logsa.army.mil)(PROTOCOL=
[=tcp)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=H)(CID=(PROGRAM=)(HOST=mfas-2)(USER=root))))

I keep sending the OCI the name

1 -> trace_msg for DBD::Oracle::dr (DBI::dr=HASH(0x235f4c)~INNER 'connect using '(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(HOST
=lidb.logsa.army.mil)(PROTOCOL=tcp)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=H))) logtdesex AFTER LOGON XXXXXXXXXXXXX'')

using perl and the DBI module
