just got my oca intro to oracle9i sql & wondering if there is a oracle database to download for practice?

Hi.

Well done.

You can download the Oracle software from otn.oracle.com. As part of the Database Creation Assistant (dbca) you can seleect to install several sample schemas. This will give you something to practice with. This book tells you about them:

Probably the best thing to do is to think of a design yourself and practise putting it together.
