Dual Certification

Postby Guest » Mon Nov 01, 2004 6:09 pm

I plan to get both the dba and programmer certifications for 9i. Has anyone done that?

You have to take 007 for either. I'm assuming if I take it once, I can then take the second test for both tracks. Anyone know for sure?

It sounds like a stupid question but I've ready everything I can find on the oracle cert site and I don't see anything about it. I'll probably call prometric but I can't believe I'm the only one to do this.

Thanks,

Lewis

Hi.

You only need to sit the exam once. It's common to both tracks so you don't need to sit it twice. I've not done the Developer track myself, but I know a guy who has DBA and Developer OCP.

Cheers

Hi:

You can do as many as you want as long as it is needed. I have 5 OCP certifications myself.

Hi.

I think you've missed the point. The issue was, if multiple certificiations contain the same exam, do you need to sit the same exam for each track. The answer is no.

It wasn't a question about how many tracks you can sit in total.

Cheers
