Hi.

I don't really put general business links onto that page. Just links to things that will be useful to individuals. You are advertising a remote DBA service which I have never used, so I don;t want to link to your company, as it may be seen as an endorsement. Sorry.

Hi.

If you are answering a question and you have a link to your company in your signature I'm not bothered about that. If I feel someone is only asking/answering questions in the hope that the link in their signature will get them extra work I'm not so keen on that. It should be noted that there is a no-follow on links in the signatures, so they will not help you with search engine ratings.

Hi.

You have been posting comments on my articles like "Nice article", then pasting your website address. It seems to me the only reason for doing this is you are treating my website like a link farm to increase the page rank of your site in Google.

The URLs you are posting are not to relevant content and are not in response to the questions being asked in the comments themselves, so I've been deleting them as you've added them.

If you want people to read your site, I suggest you keep writing content. If people feel the content is good they will start to follow you. Artificially trying to promote your site is pointless. Despite what the SEO people like to say, it's all about the content.

I will continue to delete comments I think are being posted purely as link spam and I will edit forum posts to remove URLs if I think they are being posted for the same reason.
