Oracle 11g Active Data Guard Setup

Hi,
I was going through your site and found a "physical Standby dataguard setup" guide...but I want guide for setting up Active Data Guard 11g. Is your guide okay for that, Im a newbie, that's why asking you such question. Your guide is having FAL_Server parameter setting but not FAL_Client parameter as I have seen in some guides. What's the reason for using just FAL_Server parameter.

Hi.

if you check the article, it explains how to set up active data guard.

It is just a normal physical standby, but it is opened in read-only mode after it is put into managed recovery.

The FAL_CLIENT parameter is no longer required.
