Learning Oracle Security

Postby pb2070 » Wed Jul 02, 2014 6:27 pm

Hi Tim.
I do not know this is the right place to put this link.

I actually went through about this topic and gathered some work experience on this topic.
Wrote a doc (link) and shared with my friends. They appreciated it.
So, I thought to share this with the members here.

Hello Memebers.
The below link is all about enhancing the knowledge with the topic " building Security on Oracle Database".
In one of the project I had worked in the IT-Security department. It was a good experience.
Later on, i.e. in the past 4 months I enhanced some more knowledge on this topic.

There is also a certification (1Z0-528 ) from Oracle now.

Hi.

Hi.

This site is not really about publishing or promoting other people's content.

If you want to start putting material out into the community, that is good. What I would suggest is:

1) You stop using Scribd. They are the copyright infringement capital of the world in my opinion. I don't know anyone in the Oracle community that takes it seriously as a source of information.

2) You start a blog. You can do that for free on Wordpress.com or blogger.com. Write your material there so it is associated with you as an individual, not some greedy copyright infringement business like Scribd.

3) When you have started your blog, contact orana.info and ask them to syndicate your blog, which will hep you reach a wider audience.

I'll leave this link, but as I said, this forum is not a promotional tool for other people's content. :)

Cheers

Hi Tim.

Sorry for that.

I had really no thoughts of promotion or giving show off or advertising myself.
It is indeed copy and paste of my notes and sharing the information.

Thank you very much to inform about orana.info that i never heard of.

Cheers

No worries. :)

I just thought I better say something, because I have to delete a lot of posts where people are advertising websites and products etc.

I was not so bothered about this link, but didn't want to send the wrong message to anyone else out there who was thinking of using the forum to advertise their products. :)

Cheers
