1Z0-060 Upgrade to Oracle Database 12c

Postby AjaSos » Wed Feb 12, 2014 5:52 pm

Hi
Im OCP in Oracle 10g I plan upgrade my certification to 12c ( not to 11 from finansial reson I pay my self for certificate ).
Exam have 2 part first part new in 12 and secon DBA skills passing score to 65% on one and two part - 85 qestion with 250$

Now Oracle have only one clas training cost 3000$
specyal book coming in summer

I take this exam - exam is not hard like in OPC11 but you must konow new Features coming with 12 like CDB and PDB.

But I dont have good information I dont PASS I FAILL I receive 46% score like I answer on 40 qeestion this is not possible.
I remember some easy qestion from test what was my surprise when I fund this question on incorrectly question list.

In my opinion this exam is new mey have some errors in this wersion is feake i thing.
I send request to Oracle support with this case and wait for answer.

at the moment my advice dont take this exam.

and qestion to all any body take this exam ????

Hi.

I've not attempted the beta or production exam, so I can't really comment. I must admit, I think the syllabus is strange, testing so much in a single exam.

If it is like previous exams, where they ask, "pick the most correct", or "pick 3 out of 5", it is very easy to select one point wrong and fail the question, even though you generally understand the subject matter and think you have passed the question.

Also, I can imagine many people (including me) slipping up on the old stuff as well. Having to essentially revise for the 9i, 10g, 11g and 12c upgrade exams is a lot of stuff to work through, knowing that you will probably only get a single question on some areas. I imagine many people will focus on the new stuff and forget the old stuff.

I'm still writing my revisions notes, so I'm nowhere near being ready to sit the exam yet, but I'm in no rush...

Cheers

Hi.

If I had to pick 2, I would say A & B.

BTW: I hope this is not a question from your actual exam. Posting that online is a breach of the OCP regulations, which means your OCP can be taken off you.

then why not D and C - part from qestion "...All the components..." from qestion "...procedures listed in
the..."
I know we canot move all component to sysaux and from sysaux becouse for all this is not posible but qestion ask directli "...procedures listed in..." then all procedure listed in column.

Tim qestion is not directli but similar. this is what I remember I dont sell this information this discusion is only for educatio - my target is show what qestion will be not clearly. and dont test knolage.

Hi.

It doesn't matter what your motives are. Discussing the specific questions with others is a breach of the rules...

Why not the others. Because not all occupants can be moved. Simple as that. You asked what I think. That is what I think... :)

Hi.

It is a context thing. The words "all occupants" suggests multiple, so it is no longer an answer on a row-by-row basis. It is a general statement that is not true as not all occupants can be moved.

This makes me think, out of the 4 answers, the two that say "all occupants" must be incorrect. The fact that you can only pick 2, kind-of seals it.

I think this is very easy to misinterpret. It's is possible I have, since we don;t know what the true answer is. :) I'm just telling you how I would answer it.

Cheers

Yes and no. It's a question from a brain dump he found online. He put this same question on the OTN forums. The brain dump answer is wrong.
His outrage over the 'errors' in the production exam led to the following post on my blog:
