just wanna point out an error in the article. i hope this helps.

trcsess output=client.trc client_id=my_id db10g_ora_198.trc db10g_ora_206.trc

the parameter should be 'clientid' not 'client_id'

Hi.

I think everything in the "Automatic Performance Diagnostic and Tuning Features" section is part of the Diagnostics and Tuning pack which is an Enterprise Edition option.

The rest is available in Standard Edition... I think.
