Deyun said...Hi Jim,
The Weblogic 10.3.6 support matrix doesn't have Redhat 6 and JDK 7.
Is this doc too old? Or there is a new one?
Check out the certification tab on MOS.
"Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6.0.0 with Linux x86-64 Oracle Linux 6
1. Support is with UEK: Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel and Red Hat Compatible Kernel.
2. JDK 7 certification is available only with WLS 10.3.6+/FMW 126.96.36.199+. Oracle does not support use of JDK 7 with WLS 10.3.1-10.3.5/FMW 188.8.131.52.0 - 184.108.40.206.0."
Tim... said...Sorry. Just noticed you said RHEL6. That is too.
"Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6.0.0 is certified on Linux x86-64 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6"
I *always* use MOS for this because you know it is up to date!

The article is really interesting to read because it is written in simple English.
It is a good piece of work.

Forms Server hung because no more threads could be spwaned.
Could you insert the same section concerning "/etc/security/limits.d/90-nproc.conf" file in MOS Note [ID 1487773.1]
# Change this
* soft nproc 1024
# To this
* - nproc 16384
Added that reference in this and the 12c guide.
