Hi Tim, I use your code and i can upload files and see the files as a links, but my problem is when i want to download them. When i click in the The second set of links (procedure directly) it marks me an error: ora-00932 inconsistent datatypes: expeted number got binary. What can i do? Thanks :)

How can one add the following to the code:
limit the file size & limit the types of files. I.e., don't allow all file types?

Hi.

Using this process, you only know about the file after it has been uploaded, so you would have to check the mime_type and doc_size after the upload and delete it if it is invalid. It is better to build these sort of check into the front end application. That way you save on the wasted upload.
