Ravi R said... Hi,It should not be necessary to have to manually stop remote jobs using end_detached_job_run. This suggests that in your setup the agent is not able to contact the database. Perhaps you have a firewall in front of your database. To check this you can look inside the agent.log file which is located under $ORACLE_HOME/data/agent.log (in the agent install).
