Please be aware that in order to install Weblogic Server 64-bit you have to add "-d64" to the install command:

java -d64 -jar wls1032_generic.jar

i can't find any reference to the prerequisite of patch 9352237 to install patch 9002336 on MOS (aka Metalink)???

Tim... said...

Hi.

You can use 11.2.0.2 now, so you don't need it anymore.

Hi!
After install Java_SE_Development_Kit_6u18 I added next variables on ~/.bash_profile:
#For java jdk6
export JAVA_HOME ="/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_18"
export PATH = $JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH
export CLASSPATH =.:$JAVA_HOME/lib/tools.jar
...because WL Installer "didn't saw" new version of JDK.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for Sharing a useful article.
Will 10.3.6 Weblogic is supported for 11g GridControl Installation? Will it work?

Tim... said...

Hi.

You will have to check the certification matrix. Certainly as one point in the past it was not certified against newer versions of WebLogic, because I wanted to use 10.3.5 and it was not certified.

I've been on CC 12c for while now, so not tracking CG 11g certification...

Cheers
