Hi, I try to install em12c into oracle linux 6.1, but I found that glibc version is glibc-2.12-1.25.el6.x86_64 and I also check it in oracle public yum repo, it's was glibc-2.12-1.25.el6.x86_64 in

, when I try to install em12c, install program will quit install when it was installing.

how do u reserved this issues? thanks

I had no problems. You can see exactly how I installed it on 6.1. If you follow the DB installation I suggest, all the prerequisites are met.

I have no idea. I only ever install Grid Control on supported platforms.

Hello Tim,

As always, excellent post with all necessary details. So how did your setup use resources like CPU, RAM? I ask because doc says min. of 6 GB RAM is needed for OMS and 6GB RAM for Management Repository whereas you have managed to install it on a VM with 6GB RAM.

It is very slow on 6G. :)

You really do need to throw as much memory as you can to this stuff. More so on the mid tier.

Excellent, thanks for the doc
I installed over oracle linux 6.3, db and grid and I just had one error
something related with
checking the install log.. you can see that there is an error while "makefile .../"....
what i did was :
cd $ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/lib
make -f install
and give ignore and everything was fine :)
pura vida!!!
