Leaf said...Hi, I try to install em12c into oracle linux 6.1, but I found that glibc version is glibc-2.12-1.25.el6.x86_64 and I also check it in oracle public yum repo, it's was glibc-2.12-1.25.el6.x86_64 in http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL6/1/base/x86_64/
, when I try to install em12c, install program will quit install when it was installing.
how do u reserved this issues? thanks
I had no problems. You can see exactly how I installed it on 6.1. If you follow the DB installation I suggest, all the prerequisites are met.
Thank you very much. I have installed successfully. It's really very clear document you provided. Thank you once again.

you are really helpful team.
Thanks for this explanation. I just want to know if the same steps can be smoothly followed in order to install 12c oem on oracle 11gR2 installed on fedora 16
I have no idea. I only ever install Grid Control on supported platforms.

As always, excellent post with all necessary details. So how did your setup use resources like CPU, RAM? I ask because doc says min. of 6 GB RAM is needed for OMS and 6GB RAM for Management Repository whereas you have managed to install it on a VM with 6GB RAM.
Tim... said...It is very slow on 6G. :)
You really do need to throw as much memory as you can to this stuff. More so on the mid tier.

I installed over oracle linux 6.3, db 18.104.22.168 and grid 22.214.171.124 and I just had one error
something related with ins_sqlplus.mk
checking the install log.. you can see that there is an error while "makefile .../ins_sqlplus.mk"....
what i did was :
make -f ins_sqlplus.mk install
and give ignore and everything was fine :)
