Standby db sync after changing in primary db

Hi Tim,

In a datagaurd environment(setup on oracle 10gR2 in win2k3 server) where primary and standby is already sync. when i create new tablespace ,datafile, adding new user ( changes happens in oracle password file) on primary site, how to again sync my standby database.

Please suggest..

It's a long time since I worked on 10g Data Guard, but as I remember it, all DDL is transferred, so all te changes, including the password in the password file are run on the standby automatically.

If the passwordfile is not getting updated, you can always copy the one from the primary database.
