We have a 2 node RAC cluster on Oracle Linux 5 x86-64.
We have just upgrade our grid control from 184.108.40.206 to 220.127.116.11.
We want to register a oracle database that is still 18.104.22.168 with the clusterware
With our environment set for the new clusterware 22.214.171.124, we issue commad
srvctl add database -d CRP -o /u01/app/crp/dbhome and get an java error
PRCD-1025 Failed to create database CRP.
One question came up, should we be using the srvctl out of the rdbms ORACLE_HOME for 126.96.36.199
for adding this database to clusterware or should we use the new srvctl from CRS Home?
Definitely the newest home.
The error will normally be followed by another error that tells you why it failed...
