Let me explain it more clearly
I was getting many errors right from the scratch but by guidance of you people I solved many problems like connection issue between ODS 10g and DB 11g, running a form in browser(partially solved)
I have installed DB 11g and ODS 10g in E: drive of my pc(C: contain OS windows7) and internet explorer 8 with jinit version 220.127.116.11(both in C: and E:) and jre 7.0(which is installed in C:)
from the below site I came to know that jinit is no more supported by oracle so made many changes to default.env and formsweb.cfg so that my browser look for jre not jinit
Eventough my browser is looking for jinit
shall I attach default.env and formsweb.cfg
Kindly answer me as soon as possible so that I can continue with my practise
Thanks a lot!
Not only does Oracle not support JInitiator. It no longer supports Oracle Developer Suite 10g. I really think you need to knock this on the head.
Either get up to date and use Oracle Forms 11gR2, or do something else.
As I keep telling people, I'm not an Oracle Forms guy. I just install the application server. It's about 6 years since I've installed Oracle Forms Builder on my desktop, and eve then I didn't use it.
If you want to use Oracle Developer Suite 10g, you might get some answers to your questions on the OTN forums...
