Hi Tim
I read your article on creating a clone of a PDB from a remote PDB. Thanks for the accompanying video. However, my PDB's came up in restricted mode and you made no mention of this. I did a Google search and others seems to experience this too. You also didn't mention that the tnsnames.ora needs updating on the remote PDB. Please can you advise and update your article?

You have either configured TDE in the remote PDB and not done the config in the local CDB, or hit Bug 19174942. I've put a mention of both in the other article, but they are exception cases, not the norm.

I don't remember doing any network changes on the remote server. Just tnsnames.ora on local server for DB link. Email me (tim @ oracle-base.com).

Maybe you meant tnsnames.ora in the local server. I kind-of thought that would be obvious because DB links use tnsnames.ora entries, therefore...

I'll amend the article so this is more obvious for those that are not familar with DB links.
