Comments for Multitenant : Resource Manager with Container Databases (CDB) and Pluggable Databases (PDB) in Oracle Database 12c Release 1 (12.1)

Hi Tim,
Just a small error in the article.

Where we read:
pluggable_database : The percentage of the CDBs available parallel serrvers that are available to the PDB.

We should read:
parallel_server_limit: The percentage of the CDBs available parallel servers (PARALLEL_SERVERS_TARGET initialization parameter) that are available to the PDB.

Thank you,

Wow. So many typos and dodgy copy/paste in the sentence. I must have been drunk. :) Thanks...

Hi Tim,
when executing the example you proposed on how to create a resource plan in a pdb, I get the following error (I guess it is due to limitations of resource manager on PDBs since plans can not be multilayer)
ORA-56730: pluggable database plan HYBRID_PLAN may not specify parameter CPU_P2
..
56730. 00000 - "pluggable database plan %s may not specify parameter %s

Hi.

Thanks for the heads-up. I've corrected the plan to use a percentage and drop the deprecated calls.

I'm sure this worked when I wrote the article. Perhaps the backwards compatibility got tightened up with 12.1.0.2?

Cheers
