Comments for Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Release 4 Installation on Oracle Linux 5.9 and 6.5

Hi,
I've been searching today, and it seems that 12.1 database is NOT certified as repository for the 12.1.0.4 Cloud Control (OMS).
Searched in My Oracle Support, under certifications:
"Enterprise Manager Base platform - OMS"
"12.1.0.4.0"
"Linux X86-64 Oracle linux 6"
This gives 11.2.0.4 as repository database, not 12.1.

What are your thoughts on this?

Hi.

A non-CDB installation was supported for a few days, then they pulled the support quite quickly. Trust the certification matrix. :)

chkconfig doesn't work with gcstartup script. Please correct the instructions. If someone wants to keep using gcstartup script in a manual way and disable the automatic startup (on boot) must disable the S and K scripts in /etc/rc* directories by renaming them, using the old way (s and k instead of S and K).

Hi.

Ive amended the article. My preferred method is to comment out the contents of the "/etc/oragchomelist" list, so all services are left untouched.

Cheers
