I am getting this error

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-20100: Error occurred while parsing: No such file or directory
ORA-06512: at "sys.XMLPARSER", line 22
ORA-06512: at "sys.XMLPARSER", line 69

Hi.

As the error message says, either the directory or the file is not present. Remember, this must be a directory and file on the servers file system and the permissions must be correct for the Oracle software to access it.

Note. If you have questions, please ask them in the forum, not in the comments.

Cheers

Hi.

You are using an Oracle 8i article. Are you really using Oracle 8i? There is an update for Oracle 9i listed at the start of the article which uses a method that is still current in 12c, is faster and is built into the Oracle kernel, not loaded separately. I suggest you use that method.

You error is likely to be malformed XML.
