Hello Tim,
While performing silent installation by using response file , I am getting error "Specify oracle service username". In response file i have set oracle.install.isBuiltinAccount=true.
What should I set for oracle.install.oracleHomeUserName then?
Help me .

Hi.

I don't really do much with Windows, so I'm not the best person to ask. I would suggest running the OUI in regular mode, picking the options you want, then click the "Save Response File" button. You can then cancel the installer before it starts doing anything. You can then see the settings it's used.

Not too many people out there probably running Oracle on Windows, so thank you for putting this together.
Once thing I will ADD to your article that bit me during my install is related to Windows "Automatic Metric" options for the NIC. The option needs to be unchecked and the public NIC gets a lower value (say "3") than the private NIC (say "7"). Otherwise, GI Install fails.

Hi Leo.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will add it in when I've tested it. Might be a little time though. Just didn't want you to think I was ignoring you. :) I will also include it in my 12.2 RAC article when it is done. :)

Cheers
