DDL logging is all well and good, but not when they rip it out of v$sql :-(

Are you sure you don't just have your LONG set incorrectly? CLOBs get truncated by SQL*Plus by default. I've just checked V$SQL and it looks fine.

SET LONG 1000000
SELECT clob_value FROM table;
