I recently found out one of my colleagues is a “Lego Master Builder”. He was given the title after he produced a full size guitar, or something like that…

I use visits to my 4 year old nephew as an excuse play with Lego and relive my childhood. Although, I seldom build anything better than the USB stick 🙂

I have suddenly, as a result of 1) having a conversation with a 3rd-grader at church Sunday, and 2) reading this post, realized that Legos circa 2006 are not the same happy little red and yellow blocks I remember from my childhood. I mean, they still have little red and yellow blocks, but the little blocks I remember compared to today’s little red and yellow blocks are as a Kaypro 2 compared to a Dell Dimension XPS.
I am jealous. I wish I could make Lego amazing as this.
