With the exception of Shaun of the Dead, what makes a truly great zombie film?
- Zombies.
- Milla Jovovich.
- Milla Jovovich wasting lots of zombies.
- Zombies getting wasted by Milla Jovovich.
- Milla Jovovich having a reflective moment, before wasting zombies.
- An act of treachery by one of the group resulting in deaths, followed by Milla Jovovich wasting zombies.
- A true act of human kindness, followed by Milla Jovovich wasting zombies.
Resident Evil: Afterlife had all of these classic elements, and it starred Milla Jovovich.
If you like Milla Jovovich and the Resident Evil franchise you will like this film. If you don’t like Milla Jovovich, you should really learn to love Milla Jovovich.
By the way, it starred Milla Jovovich.

Mouahahaha… too funny
Always good to see some Oracle related zombie postings. Maybe you could teach in Baltimore: http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/nationworld/world/wire/sns-ap-us-odd-zombie-class,0,2027516.story.
(personaly I prefer Dawn of the Dead [both versions – over any Resident Evil movie, I do like her in The Fifth Element though)
Joan of Arc never looked so good!

> it stared Milla Jovovich.
Should that be, “I stared at Milla Jovovich” or “it starred Milla Jovovich” ?

As a fan of Milla Jovovich (what guy isn’t?), and the Resident Evil games and films, I look forward to it.
