WordPress 4.6.1

WordPress 4.6.1 has been released.

It’s a security release, and by the time you read this your site will probably have auto-updated to it anyway. 🙂

You can read release notes here, the changelog here, or get the full download here. Like I said, you probably won’t need the download as the auto-updater will do it’s thing anyway.

Cheers

  1. Yes I updated it to 4.6.1 but suddenly started facing issues with some plugins. Even it stopped me to log in twice. Is there any compatibility issue?

  2. Chacha: Plugins aren’t really anything to do with the main WordPress code. There are often times when plugins become unstable after a new release, which is why you should try to minimise/avoid plugins where possible. I would suggest you disable your plugins and try using the blog again. Then enable them one-by-one until you find the culprit.

    Cheers
